Terms of service

1. Service

Portugal SDR Deposits lets a merchant manually select variants, apply a technical deposit line in the cart and prepare monthly reports. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the official Portuguese SDR operator and does not provide legal or tax advice.

2. Merchant responsibility

The merchant determines product eligibility, verifies the configuration, keeps the storefront notice active where required, reviews every report and manually uploads only files accepted by the Portal. The app does not guarantee file acceptance and does not replace official records.

3. Deposit and checkout

For selected variants, the app configures a fixed EUR 0.10 deposit per eligible unit through Shopify Checkout. The merchant is responsible for confirming that the rule remains correct and legally applicable.

4. Billing

Paid plans, approvals, renewals and cancellations are processed by Shopify. Prices and billing cycles shown on Shopify's billing screen prevail over informational descriptions.

5. Availability and changes

We may fix, secure, update or discontinue functionality where necessary. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or completely error-free operation.

6. Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for eligibility decisions, incorrect declarations, rejected files, legal changes or third-party service failures outside its control. Mandatory merchant rights are not excluded.

7. Merchant data processing

When we process store data on the merchant's behalf, we act only on documented instructions arising from these terms and the app configuration. We limit access to authorised personnel under confidentiality obligations, apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, assist the merchant with data-subject requests and incidents where applicable, and delete or return data when the service ends unless legal retention is required.

Shopify and Railway are essential subprocessors described in the Privacy policy. The merchant authorises their use to provide the service. We will communicate material changes where required and make information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance available, subject to confidentiality and security limits.

8. Law and forum

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to mandatory rights and protections applicable under European Union law and the law applicable to the merchant. Subject to mandatory rules, disputes are submitted to the competent courts determined under applicable European Union and national law.
